The McKinney Chamber Board of Directors recently approved the 2023 Chamber Legislative Priorities in advance of the upcoming Legislative Session.
Education, Workforce Development, Economic Development and Transportation are some of the key areas the Chamber will be focused on during the session. Throughout the year we take input from business and community leaders, conduct a member survey, and stay informed on policies that would impact McKinney’s quality of life and economic climate. This helps formulate the Chamber’s position.
In addition, the McKinney Chamber is part of a Regional Chamber Coalition through the North Texas Commission where our Chamber partners with others across the region on shared priorities. The Chamber will coordinate with other organizations to advance the shared priorities and oppose legislation that would be harmful to our region and our city.
