Jan. 9, 2024 – Collin College Continuing Education (CE) announces a new course, “Generative AI (Artificial Intelligence) for the Rest of Us.” The course is a part of CE’s Data Science certificate series and designed for business leaders and non-technical professionals interested in Generative AI basics and its ethical implications. An open house for the course will be held Tuesday, Jan. 17 at 6:30 p.m. in room 122 at the Courtyard Center, 4800 Preston Park Blvd., Plano.
According to Anthony Klinkert, curriculum advisor and CE instructor, the course will give insights about AI trends and provide an interactive and practical approach through hands-on learning and real-world applications.
“Business leaders will gain essential knowledge to leverage AI for strategic decision-making and innovation,” Klinkert said. “The course provides the tools and knowledge to navigate the digital transformation driven by AI technologies like ChatGPT.”
During the open house, participants will have an opportunity to speak with course instructors to learn more about the course and future CE courses in AI. For enrollment and more information, email CEhelp@collin.edu or call 972.985.3711. Classes will begin Jan. 23, so enroll before it’s too late!
