Tell us about your business: We are the City of McKinney’s premier recreation centre. We offer indoor competition pool, indoor/outdoor leisure pools, indoor sauna, a supervised playroom, classrooms and party rooms. The Apex Centre also offers a fitness facility with a gymnasium, basketball courts and elevated indoor track.
How have you benefited from being an Ambassador- or comment about your experience – Why are you an Ambassador?:
Being an Ambassador allows me to connect with our business community. To celebrate a new business opening, help make connections and just overall support our local community.
Tell us about your involvement in the Community?
I volunteer my time to help the team with Dia de los Muertos to provide a cultural event in downtown McKinney every October. I also assist in advising the board with One by One ministries. A ministry that provides new and expectant parents the tools to build a strong foundation to become strong families.
What are your hobbies? : I love to be outdoors in nature on walks or hikes. As a family we spend time reading and working on puzzles.
Tell us a little about you and your family:
I am a native Texan, grew up in west TX. I have called the DFW area home for 20 years and have really enjoyed the last few years in McKinney. As a family we love trying new restaurants, exploring our parks, attending community events and staying active.
