The holiday season is a time for giving, and this year, Carpet Tech in McKinney is making it easy to spread cheer while sprucing up your home. From November 1 to December 15, 2024, Carpet Tech is hosting its annual Holiday Toy Drive, benefiting children supported by CASA of Collin County.
Here’s how it works: When customers donate a new, unwrapped toy, they’ll receive a free room of carpet cleaning with the purchase of any floor cleaning service. This includes cleaning services like carpet, tile, stone, and wood floor cleaning—a win-win for your home and the community!
Stephanie Henderson, COO of Carpet Tech, emphasized the importance of community involvement. “At Carpet Tech, giving back to our community is part of our core values. This toy drive is a special opportunity to directly support children in foster care and make their holidays brighter.”
Last year’s toy drive collected over 450 toys across Carpet Tech’s locations. This year, they’re partnering with CASA of Collin County to aim for 700 toys or more. All donations go to children in CASA’s programs, which advocate for and support children in foster care, helping them find safe, permanent homes.
“The holiday season can be challenging for children in foster care,” said Brooke Kuehne, Donor Relations Manager for CASA. “Thanks to Carpet Tech and their generous customers, we can bring joy and comfort to these kids during difficult times.”
Carpet Tech’s commitment to community goes beyond this toy drive. Over the years, they’ve partnered with organizations like Buckner International, which supports vulnerable children and families. Whether it’s through donations, volunteer work, or sponsorships, Carpet Tech continues to be a reliable community partner.
Customers can also take advantage of Carpet Tech’s wide range of cleaning services, including carpet cleaning, tile and grout cleaning, upholstery cleaning, and more.
To participate, McKinney residents can call Carpet Tech at 972-540-5142 or visit www.carpettech.com to schedule their holiday cleaning with a toy donation.
“We’re incredibly grateful for our customers and the McKinney community for making this toy drive possible,” Henderson added.
