There are lots of new options at your finger tips as numerous new restaurants have opened. Here are a few you should know about:
Shake Shack is a New York-based burger joint known for its Shackburgers, crinkle-cut fries, and milkshakes. According to the Dallas Morning News, the new location will open at 1727 N. Central Expressway. This new location will also include a drive-through. Until recently, Shake Shack has only focused on highly developed urban areas without drive-throughs, but the COVID-19 pandemic changed their perspective which has led to an increased focus on suburbs and including drive-throughs. This McKinney location will be one of many new locations in the state of Texas. The McKinney Shake Shack is scheduled to open early next year.
Peachwave
Peachwave is a frozen yogurt chain that features healthy ingredients and self-serve yogurt. Their flavors include blueberry lemonade, brownie batter,. dark chocolate, lime, and many more. Peachwave offers low sugar, vegan, and dairy-free options. According to Peachwave McKinney’s Facebook page, a new Peachwave location opened in May at 1411 N. Custer Road, Ste. 700 at the shops at Eagle Point.
The Alley Noodle
The Alley Noodle is a new restaurant known for its Vietnamese cuisine. They are known for their hour-long cooked broth with high-quality meats and noodles. Their menu consists of several different variations of Pho, salads, noodles, meats, and desserts. According to their Instagram page, its newest location opened at 7701 Stacy Road, Ste. 700 in early May 2022.
