CommonGood Medical Farmersville, TX Location GRAND OPENING EVENT FEBRUARY 20, 2025
Farmersville, TX – CommonGood Medical, a faith-based, nonprofit organization providing free healthcare services to underserved populations in Collin County, is celebrating the opening of its second, free primary care clinic, in Farmersville, TX.
“Economic pressures and health care inequalities have hit rural Texans hard, and Colin County is no exception. We feel blessed by the opportunity to partner with the first United Methodist Church and the city of Farmville to address barriers to health care access directly,” said Steve Twyman, MD the clinic’s founder.
The event, sponsored by Commercial Bank of Texas, will provide an opportunity for community members to tour the clinic, learn more about the services offered, and connect with the CommonGood Medical team of both paid staff and licensed volunteer medical professionals.
To celebrate the opening of this new clinic and introduce it to the community, CommonGood Medical will host a Grand Opening Celebration on February 20 at 10am.
The Farmersville location will begin offering services on Friday, January 17, 2025, at First United Methodist Church of Farmersville, located at 302 N Main St, Farmersville, TX 75442, every Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
Appointments are required for all patients. Pre-enrollment is necessary to access services and can be started online at www.commongoodmedical.org.
The Enrollment Verification process can be completed in person on Fridays from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Farmersville location.
As part of CommonGood Medical’s ongoing mission, the Farmersville clinic will join with the current downtown McKinney location to provide high-quality primary care, including preventive services, as well as access to specialty care all at no cost to qualified, enrolled patients.
CommonGood Medical exists to share the love of Christ by partnering with our community to provide quality, compassionate healthcare and resources to our medically underserved neighbors. As a primary care provider for uninsured Collin County residents, the clinic gives free medical, vision and mental health care for residents who have household incomes at or below 200% of the federal poverty line (FPL). Founded in McKinney in 2017, CGM has provided more than 15,553 appointments and served over 2,678 uninsured patients who otherwise would have not had access to healthcare.
