Join us for Rising Above Barriers Lunch Bunch and hear how resilience, leadership, and adaptability can help you overcome challenges in both your personal and professional life. In this Rising Above Barriers Lunch Bunch session, Sergeant Tina Malenfant shares her journey of leadership at every level and the power of pushing past both internal and external obstacles.

With over 20 years of experience in law enforcement, Sergeant Malenfant has built a career grounded in growth, perseverance, and service. Beginning in 2001 with the Farmers Branch Police Department, she has gone on to serve in the McKinney Police Department within the Criminal Investigations Division’s Financial Crimes Unit.

Throughout her career, she has trained new officers, helped establish the department’s Honor Guard Team, and led complex investigations involving elder fraud, identity theft, and forgery. Promoted to Sergeant in 2020, she now leads within the Financial Crimes Unit, guiding her team through high-level cases while fostering a solution-focused, collaborative environment.

In this session, Sergeant Malenfant will share insights on leading in high-pressure environments and how to rise above obstacles to become the kind of leader organizations need to grow and succeed. Her story is a powerful reminder that challenges are not barriers—they are opportunities to lead, learn, and create meaningful impact.
