At Lunch Bunch – Spaces That Work, Feng Shui for Artists, Joanie explores the Elements & Creative Cycles of Nature. She will talk about how aligning with these rhythms can shape an artist’s life, deepen inspiration, and support more sustainable creativity.

The presentation weaves together insights on brain health and decluttering, including current research on how our environments affect focus and creative capacity, along with practical guidance on biophilic design, plant scaping, and the greenery that can invigorate studios and living spaces right now. Joanie also introduces the Japanese practice of Ikigai, inviting artists to explore purpose, meaning, and the deeper “why” behind their work—offering tools to align space, creativity, and life with greater clarity and intention.
