McKinney Repertory Theatre’s beloved annual production of A Christmas Carol returns this holiday season with its acclaimed one-hour adaptation—perfect for busy families and ideal for fitting festive fun into every schedule. Now in its 19th year, MRT once again brings Charles Dickens’ timeless story to life through local playwright Dr. Andrew Harris’ fast-paced, heartfelt version, performed by a volunteer cast of talented community members and young actors. Ebenezer Scrooge’s journey through his past, present, and future unfolds in showtimes carefully planned so audiences can enjoy the production and still take in all the holiday events happening around McKinney’s historic square.

Tickets are $14.50 for adults, $11.50 for Seniors 55+, and $9.50 for children/students ages 4-18. Group tickets are available by calling the MPAC box office at (214) 544-4630. 

This show is rated PG due to its thematic elements involving ghosts and death.
