Thanks to a generous grant from H-E-B, students can see National Pastime for free. This initiative reflects MRT’s commitment to fostering a love for the arts among young audiences and providing educational experiences that extend beyond the classroom. Watching National Pastime gives students a fun and engaging look at life in the 1930s during the great depression, the golden age of radio, and America’s favorite pastime—baseball.
