Harvest Seasonal Kitchen is set to open its doors at its new downtown McKinney location on October 27, as per an official announcement.
Originally established in downtown McKinney at 112 E. Louisiana St. back in 2014, the restaurant embarked on a relocation journey in 2021 when owner Rick Wells acquired the property where the restaurant currently resides.
Here’s what you should be aware of: The farm-to-table restaurant has found its new home at 215 N. Kentucky St., and it will now operate under the new name “Harvest at the Masonic.” This name is a nod to the three-story, 10,400-square-foot historic building that houses the restaurant, formerly a Masonic lodge, as mentioned in the release.
The restaurant’s new location underwent an extensive 18-month restoration project to prepare for its grand opening, and it’s worth noting that the McKinney Community Development Corp. board unanimously granted a $50,000 retail development infrastructure grant for the project during a meeting held in March.
