McKinney city leaders are increasing focus on housing affordability and workforce housing as the city continues to grow. More than 300 developers, employers, nonprofits and public officials gathered at McKinney’s first Affordable Housing Summit to discuss solutions, expand housing options across income levels and help preserve quality of life as the city grows. The city is also developing a formal affordable housing strategy expected to go before City Council later this year.
