At Miruku Creamery and Cafe Kham Phommahaxay, a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Chicago, dips into his French chef skills to create a vibrant and unique mix of Japanese style ice cream. He and his wife, Yim Phommahaxay, serve up the Japanese-style soft serve featuring Asian-influenced flavors such as mango, taro, black sesame and lychee hibiscus.
