A Walmart in East McKinney could offer drone delivery service, but the project received mixed feedback from McKinney leaders.
McKinney City Council members who were present at a March 5 meeting voted 3-2 to approve the item, yet approval of the request would have required four affirmative votes, representing a majority of the seven-person council. Officials from Zipline and Walmart are still looking to move the project forward through continued consideration by city officials.
