by | Mar 24, 2022

Whole Foods Market will anchor West Grove, a new mixed-use development coming to McKinney.

West Grove will span more than 600,000 square feet and feature a mix of retail, restaurants and entertainment, as well as 420 luxury residential units. There will also be 55,000 square feet of office space and a two-acre park.

It will be located at the southeast corner of U.S. Highway 380 and Custer Road. West Grove will break ground this year.

Headquartered in Austin, Whole Foods was the first certified organic national grocer and has more than 500 stores in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. This McKinney store will be the first in the city.

Dallas-based De La Vega Capital and Development designed and developed West Grove.

“West Grove will be designed to bring people and a growing city together,” said De La Vega President and CEO Artemio De La Vega. “A central greenspace and a considered mix of open-air, experience-driven retail and restaurant spaces will cultivate a sense of community, where visitors can connect meaningfully with each other and their natural environment. With a mission to nourish people and the planet, Whole Foods Market is the perfect addition to West Grove.”
