Beginning in 2001 with the Farmers Branch Police Department\, she has gone on to serve in the McKinney Police Department within the Criminal Investigations Division’s Financial Crimes Unit. \nThroughout her career\, she has trained new officers\, helped establish the department’s Honor Guard Team\, and led complex investigations involving elder fraud\, identity theft\, and forgery. Promoted to Sergeant in 2020\, she now leads within the Financial Crimes Unit\, guiding her team through high-level cases while fostering a solution-focused\, collaborative environment. \nIn this session\, Sergeant Malenfant will share insights on leading in high-pressure environments and how to rise above obstacles to become the kind of leader organizations need to grow and succeed.
