How have you benefited from being an Ambassador- or comment about your experience – Why are you an Ambassador?:
I have been an ambassador for over a decade and have loved being involved with our local business owners and helping them grow and get connected in our community. Also, as our local SCORE mentor, I get to refer many businesses to the Chamber and see them flourish!
Tell us about your involvement in the Community?
On top of being an Ambassador, I am very active in the Chamber with Leadership Mckinney Alumni Network as the past Chair, I serve on many local boards for causes near and dear to my heart, including Serenity High, YMCA, Community Food Pantry of Mckinney, and the Collin College School of Banking Advisory Board. I am a proud McKinney Rotarian. I am also honored to be a
McKinney ISD Partner in Education and always looking to help with local causes and events.
What are your hobbies? : In my spare time, my husband and 2 boys work on our classic cars, attend car shows, and love to spend time at the beach or on the lake.
Tell us a little about you and your family:
I am a newlywed, just having celebrated my one year anniversary to my true soul mate and the most amazing man alive in May. I am a proud mom of 2 boys. Gavin is 14 and starting his Freshman year at High and Garrett, who is 21 and a US Marine. Both boys hold my momma heart. I have the honor of having 4 bonus kids and 4 bonus grandkids! And our dog, a Plott Hound Boxer mix named Filo is like having a 3 yr old at home!
