Tell us about your business.
I am a commercial lender at PlainsCapital Bank. This role entails building relationships with the business leaders in our community and helping them with their financial/banking needs. We are a full service bank that expands throughout Texas but are community focused and driven.
How you have benefited from being an Ambassador.
Becoming an Ambassador was one of the first things I did once I began working in McKinney over 5 years ago. I have gotten to know hundreds of people within our community and build lasting relationships with them. Not only does this benefit my business but enjoy getting to know the people within the community that we live in. The Ambassador program helped facilitate this network and allowed me the opportunity to meet everyone.
Tell us about your involvement in the Community?
I currently sit on the board for Community Lifeline Center and have been involved in just about every Chamber program available including being the Chair for the Ambassadors in 2017, MYP Chair in 2018, and Leadership McKinney graduate class of 2016. Even though I am only on one board at the moment, I still strive to be active in our community and support our local business and nonprofits.
What are your hobbies?
Outside of being involved in the community, I enjoy playing golf and going to concerts. Finding time to hang out with family and friends is a priority of mine and enjoy all of the time we spend together.
Tell us a bit about yourself and your family.
I will be getting married in August 2020. We are in the process of closing on our first house together in McKinney and are excited to officially start our lives together even though we have been together for 3 ½ years. My parents and brother both live in Allen where I graduated high school which is great to have my family so close to us. I received a scholarship to play collegiate golf at East Central University in Oklahoma where I graduated with a degree in finance and management. After graduating, I was fortunate to fall into banking and have opportunities presented to me to get back to Collin County where I grew up.
