Tell us about your business: This city-run, 80,000-square-foot aquatics and fitness facility includes an indoor competition pool, indoor and outdoor leisure waters, supervised playroom, classrooms and party rooms. The Apex Centre features a fitness facility with Precor, LifeFitness and Hammer Strength equipment, a gymnasium, basketball courts and an elevated track. The City and McKinney Community Development Corporation (MCDC) teamed up to build the $36 million aquatics and fitness center in Gabe Nesbitt Community Park. The facility operates on a 100 percent cost recovery basis and offers annual, monthly and daily memberships for youth, adults, seniors and families, as well as resident and non-resident rates.
How have you benefited from being an Ambassador- or comment about your experience – Why are you an Ambassador?: Absolutely! Meeting chamber members and other fellow Ambassadors has given me a new outlook on this amazing city where I live, work and play. I am an Ambassador because I love meeting new people, learning about their businesses, and I always love connecting with the business community in my own city. I love being the “I got a guy/lady” type of person. So Ambassadors fulfills a lot of my passions and helps me grow and share that passion with others.
Tell us about your involvement in the community: Other than my job – Marketing Coordinator, where I am responsible for the communication and advertising of the Apex Centre to my community – the Ambassadors and MYP are my only community groups at this time.
What are your hobbies? I am a soccer player, so love kicking the ball around. I am a huge racing enthusiast – where my favorite is Formula 1, but am a fan of nearly every kind of racing. But, I would say that my world evolves around family and friends, especially my wife and 10-month-old son, Harrison.

Son – Harrison – 10 months.
Dog – Kona – 2 years.
I am fortunate to recently have my family move to the North Dallas area, so am now surrounded by my Mom and Step Dad, along with my Sister, her husband and two nephews.
