More than 300 new homes in north McKinney will soon be available for rent after construction broke ground in January, according to a Curve Development news release.

Preleasing for the development, called Cyrene at Painted Tree, is expected to begin in May, according to an email from a company representative. First move-ins are planned for August.
New homes will be located within the master-planned community Painted Tree. Future residents will have full access to the community’s amenities, including 25 miles of trails, playgrounds and two pools.
Cyrene at Painted Tree will offer three- and four-bedroom homes with attached two-car garages and backyards, according to its website. Each home will feature modern architecture and spacious floor plans, according to the news release.

Curve Development is a development company based in Arizona that specializes in single-family rental projects. The company has worked on housing projects in California, Arizona and Florida.
Officials are also planning construction of 102 single-family homes in Denton, according to Curve Development’s website.
