As the season of giving approaches, the LINKS Committee is proud to announce a donation drive to support the McKinney Community Food Pantry. This initiative seeks to help individuals and families by collecting essential items to stock the pantry ahead of the holidays. From now until November 20, 2024, the community is encouraged to come together, donate, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those facing food insecurity in McKinney.
The McKinney Community Food Pantry has been a cornerstone for local families, providing much-needed support and nourishment. With the help of generous donations, the food pantry aims to ensure that no one in our community goes hungry. Essential items such as non-perishable foods, hygiene products, and baby supplies are urgently needed to meet the growing demand.
The McKinney Community Food Pantry is asking for donations of the following items:
- Peanut Butter
- Protein Bars
- Peanut Butter Crackers
- Toilet Paper
- Bottled Water
- Juice
- Cereal
- Baby Formula
- Feminine Hygiene Products
- Pop-Can Tuna/Pop-Can Chicken
Members of the McKinney Chamber can drop off their donations at any upcoming LINKS Networking meetings through November 20, 2024. By coming together, we can provide essential resources for those in need and make a positive impact in McKinney.
Together, let’s make this season of giving one to remember!
