| Voters will consider five General Obligation bond propositions McKINNEY, Texas (Feb. 6, 2024) – The McKinney City Council voted to call an election where voters will consider five general obligation bond propositions. The general election is scheduled for May 4, with early voting from April 22-30. General obligation bonds are funds borrowed by the city for specific public purposes. Authorization to borrow must be approved by voters and are repaid with property tax revenue.
