McKinney is officially on track to welcome commercial flights with the groundbreaking of a new 46,600-square-foot passenger terminal at McKinney National Airport. The terminal, expected to open in 2026, will feature four gates with room to expand to six, along with a 980-space parking lot. City leaders call it a major step forward, marking a new era in aviation for North Texas.
