Believe it or not, fall is right around the corner. There are plenty of fun things to do during the fall season and to help we have compiled a list of things to do this fall in the McKinney area that you should pin on your fridge.
Oktoberfest
Oktoberfest in Downtown McKinney is full of German-themed fun. Enjoy authentic food, local and imported beer, live music, games, and more. Oktoberfest will begin on Friday, September 23, and will run until Sunday, September 25.
Spooktacular Beer Walk
The final event in McKinney’s Sip and Stroll series will take place on October 29 from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. The Spooktacular Beer Walk will feature 20 different booths to try some delicious craft beer. Come in costume and enjoy all of the spooky cold beverages! Tickets are $30 per person and come with an event taster cup, map, and access to the 20 booths.
McKinney Wine and Music Festival
On Saturday, October 15, the 6th Annual McKinney Wine and Music Festival will take place at Towne Lake Park from 12 p.m. – 6 p.m. This festival will feature live music, local vendors, food from 15 of McKinney’s best restaurants, and over 100 wines to taste.
Trick or Treat Trail
On Oct. 22 at Towne Lake Park there will be a Trick or Treat Trail. This trail will feature trick or treating around the lake, food trucks, a kids zone, a costume contest, a pumpkin derby race, and more. Get more info here.
Lone Star Circus
The Lone Star Circus presents Wild West Circus will be in Downtown McKinney Oct. 13-16 and 20-23. Audiences find it is the greatest gathering of circus artists from across the globe, performing fantastic feats, mesmerizing illusions, dangerous displays, and hilarious comedy that guarantee to leave mouths agape. The tent show gives families a more intimate, interactive experience with every seat close to the action. Get tickets here.
