Oktoberfest returning to McKinney in September

Step into your lederhosen and refresh your schuhplattler dance moves for McKinney’s Oktoberfest celebration in Downtown McKinney from Sept. 23-25.

This three-day event is a family favorite, offering authentic German food and drinks, entertainment, children’s activities and fun.

Patrons will feel like they are right in the middle of Munich while they enjoy bier, brats, strudel and pretzels along with live music. Oktoberfest is now ticketless. Credit cards and digital pay options encouraged.

Where is Parking in Downtown McKinney?

Downtown McKinney has two covered parking garages, 13 public parking lots and 2,190 parking spaces, so there are plenty of places to find parking in downtown.

Most lots are no more than a short 5-minute walk to the downtown McKinney Square. You can take the Downtown Area Shuttle (DASH) Wednesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
