MCKINNEY, TX – Salesmanship Club Charitable Golf of Dallas announced today the AT&T Byron Nelson will be played in front of a full complement of fans, May 9-15 at TPC Craig Ranch in McKinney, Texas. Due to Covid-19 protocols the tournament had reduced capacity in 2021, its first year at TPC Craig Ranch, and the 2020 event was cancelled due to the pandemic.
An annual spring tradition on the PGA TOUR, the AT&T Byron Nelson offers the best in professional golf, unmatched entertainment—including a post-tournament concert with country music star Lee Brice—and a chance for fans to create lasting memories while supporting the social and emotional health of children and families in DFW.
“We are looking forward to welcoming all of our fans out to TPC Craig Ranch and providing the kind of world-class entertainment that the AT&T Byron Nelson has been known for over the last 54 years,” said Clay Duvall, AT&T Byron Nelson Tournament Chairman. “This tournament has always been much more than a game, and we’re excited to support Momentous Institute’s mission to provide family-based mental health services through our new Birdies for Mental Health initiative. By pledging their support for each birdie made before May 11th, fans can help change the odds for children in our community. And for the second year in a row, AT&T will make a $2,500 donation for each birdie or better on Hole 17 during the tournament.”
General admission tickets are now on sale through the tournament’s website (http://www.attbyronnelson.org/spectators/tickets/). Priced at $75, daily tickets include access to The Bunker, presented by Garrison Brothers Distillery, located on #9 green; Tito’s Stillhouse near 18 Green; the Cadillac Club near #10 green and all public seating areas around the course. Upgraded tickets offering a variety of locations and amenities are also available, including the ULTRA Club, Champions’ Club and Choctaw Club. Demand for private hospitality has been strong and all venues are sold out for the 2022 event.
Tournament officials also announced the return of post-play entertainment, with country music star Lee Brice taking the stage on Saturday night. Held across the street from the tournament’s main entrance, The Band of Heathens will open for the seven-time Academy of Country Music Award winner and Grammy nominee. Concert tickets will be available beginning March 1 and require a separate purchase from a tournament ticket.
Funds raised at the AT&T Byron Nelson benefit Momentous Institute, a nonprofit dedicated to building and repairing social and emotional health so that all children can achieve their full potential. A new fundraising initiative, Birdies for Mental Health, is modeled after the PGA TOUR’s Birdies for Charity program and allows participants to pledge a donation for birdies made at the event. Pledges are being accepted at www.attbyronnelson.org/birdiesmentalhealth through May 11, 2022 to help change the odds for children.
