McKinney Oktoberfest, presented by Tomes Auto Group, is back for its 18th year, filling historic Downtown McKinney with authentic Bavarian flavor, live entertainment, and family fun. The three-day festival runs Sept. 26–28 with free admission, free parking, and shuttle service available.
Festival-goers can look forward to German classics like brats, schnitzel, strudel, and Hofbrau beer, alongside local favorites from TUPPS Brewery, Landon Winery, and Lone Star Cellars. Friday kicks off with Happy Hour beer specials (2–4:30 p.m.) and the official keg tapping and parade at 6:30 p.m.
Entertainment spans three stages with polka bands, German dancers, and live music throughout the weekend. Families can enjoy carnival rides, kids’ activities, and Bavarian crafts in the Marktplatz. Festival highlights also include crowd favorites like the Weenie Dog Races, Beard & Mustache Showdown, Hofbrau stein-holding contest, and the TUPPS brat-eating competition.
Guests can make the most of the weekend with digital pay options for food and drinks or upgrade their experience in the Blue Box VIP Biergarten, featuring private seating, exclusive craft beers, Hamm’s catering, live music, and private restrooms.
