Tell us about your business. Modern Woodmen is a non-profit, fraternal financial organization started in 1883. Our goal is to help build, plan and protect families and businesses all while giving back to the Collin County area in our volunteer hours and funding opportunities based on our members. We offer free financial planning and advice and are compensated through the products and platforms implemented through Modern Woodmen. 

Why are you an Ambassador? I have spent 10 years in the Army as an Officer and it has always been about selfless sacrifice. I believe in helping others, helps grow me. 

Tell us about your involvement in the Community: I try to be everywhere. Currently in Leadership McKinney Class 2026 – Best classsss…. I assist the military community within the Veterans Court when possible and volunteer at the McKinney VFW. I assist non-profits in establishing long-term sustainability and work in a host of non-profit board positions. 

What are your hobbies? When I have free time, you’ll find me on the golf course and if I ever get an extended vacation you’ll find me in scuba gear. I enjoy the outdoors and exploring nature, hiking hills and mountains. 

Tell us a bit about yourself and your family. Recently engaged to Dara – no date set. I am originally from New Orleans, LA and post-Katrina my parents and siblings have relocated across the U.S. Graduated from the best university in the world – Texas A&M and served in multiple combat tours and transitioned to Financial Services in 2012.
