The McKinney Chamber’s Best of McKinney Awards are a true community celebration—recognizing outstanding businesses and organizations that make McKinney a remarkable place to live, work, and thrive. Unlike other awards in the area, this program is not pay-to-play. You don’t have to be a Chamber member to vote or win, and no one will ever be asked to purchase anything to receive an award. These awards are about celebrating the real impact of our local business community—and we invite everyone to participate.
Voting will be open from September 1 through October 1 (closing at the end of the business day). Winners will be revealed at our Best of McKinney Awards Luncheon on October 28, where we’ll also recognize all finalists with a refreshed and elevated event experience.

When does voting take place?
Voting opens September 1 and closes at the end of the business day on October 1.
Who can vote?
Anyone can vote—whether you live in McKinney, work here, or simply love this community.
Do I have to be a Chamber member to vote or win?
No. Chamber membership is not required to vote or to win.
How many times can I vote?
Please limit voting to one vote per person to keep things fair.
What is the purpose of these awards?
To honor the businesses and organizations that help McKinney flourish. That’s it. No gimmicks. No catch. Just a celebration of excellence in our local business community.
Are you affiliated with any other “Best Of” contests in the area?
No. The Chamber’s Best of McKinney Awards are independent. We do not require or request payment, ad buys, or purchases in order for anyone to be nominated or selected as a finalist or winner.
Can I promote voting to my customers or followers?

What happens after voting closes?
Finalists will be announced on October 8, and all winners will be revealed at the Best of McKinney Awards Luncheon on October 28.
Do I have to attend the luncheon to win?
Not at all. Winners do not have to be present to be recognized. However, the luncheon is a fantastic way to celebrate your team, connect with the community, and cheer on your fellow finalists.
How is this year’s luncheon different?
We’ve heard your feedback and are making thoughtful changes to the event format. Finalists will be honored more intentionally, and the luncheon experience will be more engaging, celebratory, and community-focused than ever before.
Why did you rebrand the Best of McKinney Awards?
We rebranded to ensure the Best of McKinney Awards present the most professional and polished look possible. Many businesses take pride in promoting their wins across multiple years, and we wanted to provide logos and visuals that are cohesive and well-suited for all marketing formats. If you’re a past winner and would like backdated graphics that align with the new look, please email mcourtright@mckinneychamber.com to request your files.
