VanTrust Real Estate gets industrial zoning approval in area slated for entertainment uses

McKinney council unanimously approved VanTrust Real Estate’s request to rezone nearly 63 acres along SH 121 for light industrial use. City staff had recommended denial, noting the area was slated for entertainment in the comprehensive plan. VanTrust plans to build five low-impact industrial buildings on the site.
