City approves $10M loan for McKinney EDC to purchase land east of McKinney National Airport

McKinney officials are loaning funds, sourced from the city’s general fund, to the McKinney Economic Development Corporation to purchase a piece of land east of the McKinney National Airport. MEDC officials intend to purchase 182 acres of land, according to a loan agreement attached to the March 25th meeting agenda.
