There's some good news for those hoping to build a new home in North Dallas.
Johnson Development Corp. announced on Tuesday that they will deliver 450 lots to builders to sell this year for their Trinity Falls master planned community in McKinney.
They said more than 200 home sites will be available this summer and the rest will roll out this Fall.
"Trinity Falls is pleased to still be able to offer new home opportunities during this tight housing market," said C'Ella Clayton, Director of Marketing, Johnson Development Corporation, Trinity Falls. "We continue to see plenty of buyers, strong employment, and are still on track to have a total of 5,000 homes once the project is complete."
For the 450 lots being developed this year, most of the community's builders are taking a "spec and release approach," Clayton said.
"Meaning once we deliver lots they are releasing them for sale at the framing or drywall stages," she explained.
