Check out photos from the McKinney Farmers Market

Despite the 100-degree heat last Saturday, the McKinney farmer's market was filled with people shopping and enjoying beautiful downtown McKinney.

The farmer's market features booths from a variety of vendors selling things including fresh fruits and vegetables, salsa, desserts and wine.

This event happens every Saturday from 8 a.m.-noon at 315 Chestnut Street and is an activity the whole family can enjoy. They even had pony rides for children.

It is free to get into and anybody can walk around and browse.
