Despite Saturday's excessive heat, hundreds of people showed up for McKinney's Sip and Stroll series, the Margarita Stroll.
The event, located in downtown McKinney, included a souvenir taster cup, a map to guide the journey, snacks, and access to 15 booths serving different margaritas.
Painted Tree, a sponsor of the event, was handing out free popsicles for attendees near the check-in booth.
There were also five bonus booths that served Bloody Marys, craft beer, and other surprises. Proceeds from the event went to support Hugs Cafe.
This was the second Sip and Stroll event of the year and the third and final event takes place on October 29, the Spooktacular Beer Walk.
