Children’s Advocacy Center sees rising demand, shift to McKinney location

The Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County is seeing increased demand and a shift in where families seek services, with child abuse cases in northern Collin County rising more than 60% over the past five years.

Since opening its McKinney campus in 2022, more clients are being served there as the region grows. The center provides free, trauma-informed support—including forensic interviews, family advocacy and therapy—for victims and their nonoffending family members.
