Instead of the $45M plaza project, the city will add an improved at-grade crossing at the same location plus eight more pedestrian crossings along SH 5. Estimated costs include $2M for the enhanced crossing and $4M for the additional crossings. City staff will work with TxDOT and the North Central Texas Council of Governments on the updates.
