The Leadership McKinney Class of 2022/2023 was recently announced. Thirty-one leaders were selected to participate in the nine-month program designed to sharpen leadership skills while learning about all aspect of our community. The objective is for graduates of the program to find ways they can take their newfound knowledge of critical issues and challenges and plug into the community where their passion lies.
The Leadership McKinney program for the past 32 years has been a vital program in community building in McKinney. The McKinney Chamber of Commerce launched the program in 1988 and since that time have seen a number of alumni contribute in a variety of ways – from elected public office, to boards and commissions, PTOs, nonprofit and charitable organizations – Leadership Alumni are part of the fabric of our community.
