Redemption Point Alliance church is excited to announce our Women’s Fall retreat. On Friday October 14, from 6:30-9:00PM and Saturday October 15, from 8:30AM-4:00PM, Redemption Point Alliance church is hosting a special event for ladies. Our in-house fall retreat is open to all women and we want you to join us.
This will be a time of great worship, fellowship, and teaching. We have two dynamic speakers with powerful stories and testimonies that offer hope, healing and a freshness word about God’s mercy, grace, and faithfulness.
Carol Kent and Nancy Shore will be bringing God’s Word and teaching to us. Carol is a popular international public speaker best known for being dynamic, humorous, encouraging, and biblical. She is a former radio show co-host and has often been a guest on Focus on the Family.
She regularly appears on a wide variety of nationally syndicated radio and television broadcasts. Past appearances have included the Billy Graham Prime Time Special, Dateline NBC, CNN, MSNBC, Focus on the Family, LIFE Today with James Robison, Family Life Today, and 100 Huntley Street.
Carol will be sharing her testimony and teaching us more about faith, focus, and perseverance.
You may have heard the name Nancy Shore. You may remember the shocking true story that happened in Carrolton, Texas ten years ago. You may have even seen her episode on Dateline. She has a powerful story and testimony that teaches us about love, forgiveness, God’s faithfulness, and hope that she will be sharing.
On a rainy Saturday night in August 2012, Nancy was brutally shot in the head and left for dead. However, remarkably, Nancy survived. Investigation of the shooting would later reveal the betrayal of her husband and many dark secrets. Nancy later would learn of a murder-for-hire plot with her as the intended party.
Nancy Shore is the author of The Shooting of Nancy Howard: A Journey back to Shore, and a speaker for women’s groups. We are excited to have her join us to share about her journey.
