by | Jan 1, 2026

1. Name of Business or Organization – Commercial Bank of Texas (CBTx!)

2. Your location – McKinney

3. Tell us about your business. Commercial Bank of Texas is both a commercial and personal bank based on relationship level banking. The idea behind our motto, “Banking Texas Style” is that our products and services are all custom tailored to fit our clients’ needs. We will never be a box bank. We pride ourselves on finding the Right Products with the Right People for the Right Reasons. As one of the last privately held, Texas based banks, we want to show you how relationship banking with CBTx will change your view of banks!

4. Why are you an Ambassador?  I have been an Ambassador for many years. I pride myself on finding ways to make businesses in our Community feel welcome and help them succeed, so being an Ambassador is 100% in my wheelhouse.

5. Tell us about your involvement in the Community – I think I might be overly involved, but I love Community Service and all that I get to do to help! I serve with the Chamber as the incoming Ambassador Chair, past Leadership McKinney Alumni Chair and currently Membership Committee Chair; I am Secretary for the Community Food Pantry of Mckinney, the oldest and largest food pantry in our community; Treasurer for Serenity High, the fourth high school in McKinney for drug and alcohol rehab students wanting to finish their diploma in a safe and supportive environment; and I get to enjoy serving the City as a Commissioner on the Grants and Housing Development Commission.

6. What are your hobbies? In my spare time I enjoy working on our classic cars with my son and hubby. I also love date nights with my amazing
husband and time just hanging out listening to records and doing puzzles.

7. Tell us a bit about yourself and your family. I have been a banker for 26 years. I finally, after 2 ½ decades have my dream job in the banking
world as a Community Relations Officer with CBTx. I have 2 sons; Garrett, 22 USMC and Gavin, 16, MHS Sophomore. Both are truly a blessing to me and I strive everyday to raise them to be amazing men like my husband is. I have a 3 yr. old dog, Filo and a 1 yr old cat, Belle. They are best friends and fun to watch together. I have lived in McKinney for 24 years, and I am a proud citizen volunteering my time and talents with many non-profits.

8. Favorite phrase: “For I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to the mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:20-21
