Community Impact delivers trusted, hyperlocal news to communities across Texas through print, digital, and email newsletters that keep residents informed and connected. Here in McKinney, I get to work closely with local businesses, helping them stay top of mind naturally and meaningfully by aligning their brand with the stories and content our community is already engaged with.
4. Why are you an Ambassador? Or comment on your Ambassador experience
I chose to be an ambassador for the McKinney Chamber because I value connection and community. Through my role at Community Impact, I connect with people in a city I love, helping them feel welcomed, supported, and engaged. Serving as an ambassador felt like a natural extension of that. I love using my work and Chamber involvement to support local businesses. After nearly a year as an ambassador, the experience has been incredibly fulfilling, deepening my connection to the community and strengthening my sense of purpose.
5. Tell us about your involvement in the Community
I stay involved in small, everyday ways, supporting local businesses, staying connected, and showing up when I can. McKinney has been home for most of my life, so getting to represent Community Impact and be more involved in a city I love has been really special.
6. What are your hobbies? (Optional)
Being a single working mom of two is my hobby LOL. I don’t currently have space for those types of things in this chapter, but maybe one day. hahaha.
7. Tell us a bit about yourself and your family.
I’m a mom to two boys, ages 6 and 10, who keep life fun and full. I’ve lived and worked in McKinney most of my life and spent over 10 years in the restaurant industry before recently transitioning into advertising with Community Impact. I love cooking, live music, and spending quality time with my boys.
