- Tell us about your business: Housewarmers is a community-based marketing program that personally welcomes new homeowners to the area. Rather than simply dropping off a bag at the door, our greeters meet each new resident in person and present them with a welcome gift filled with information about the community, exclusive offers, promotional items, and gift certificates from trusted local businesses. Our goal is to help new residents feel at home while connecting them with reputable businesses and local resources they can rely on. In addition to our welcome bags, we publish The Front Porch Newsletter, keeping thousands of residents informed each month about local events, new businesses, community news, and special offers from our Housewarmers Community Sponsors.
- Why are you an Ambassador? Just as I love welcoming new residents through Housewarmers, I love welcoming new Chamber members! Helping people make connections, grow their business, and feel like they belong is what it’s all about. And if you know me, you know Ribbon Cuttings are my jam! I never miss a chance to celebrate a new business or a big milestone.
- Tell us about your involvement in the Community: Giving back is important to me. I enjoy volunteering with local nonprofits and helping collect donations for organizations like Little Hearts of Hope and our local food pantry. I love being part of a community that supports and cares for one another.
- What are your hobbies? What are hobbies? 😊 Honestly, we’ve been so short-handed with deliveries lately that Housewarmers has become my hobby!
- Tell us a bit about yourself and your family: We moved to Texas in 2008 and have loved raising our three daughters here. They’ve grown into amazing young Texas women, and I couldn’t be more proud of them! Our oldest owns a marketing firm, our middle daughter is in PharmD school and getting married this year, and our youngest is attending Texas A&M. We also have three furbabies who keep us busy! Especially our baby, who has had two hip surgeries and is currently working through physical therapy as part of her recovery. Life is busy, but we wouldn’t have it any other way!
