McKinney City Council approved applying for a Collin County grant to help fund an extension to Rowlett Creek Trail. The city’s parks and recreation department is requesting up to $300,000 for the project and plans to add two concrete trail sections which will connect to the city’s overall trail system. The project scope also includes a pedestrian bridge and updates to the park’s playground and pavilion.
